Send us a spec that’s gone stale

The social-media presets were verified in October 2026, and platforms do move — if YouTube raised a thumbnail spec or Instagram changed a feed ratio, quote the platform’s current documentation and what our table says. Date-stamped spec reports are the most useful mail we get, and the correction lands with a new “verified” stamp.

Report a number that’s wrong

If the scaler produced a wrong result, include the four things needed to reproduce it:

• the source W×H you entered,
• the mode (fit / fill / stretch / percent / ladder / will-it-fit) and target box,
• what the tool showed,
• what you expected instead.

“Pillarbox bars should be 240 px each side for 4:3-in-16:9, the page said something else” — that shape of report gets checked against the formulas and answered fastest.

Suggest a preset or mode

Reasonable asks we’ve already weighed: per-rung bitrate hints on the ladder (deliberately out of scope — that’s codec math, not geometry), named-resolution presets beyond the current set, a “scale both ways” toggle. If you keep reaching for a calculation the page doesn’t do, describe the job rather than the feature name — the use case decides what gets built.

Timing

Corrections with a reproduction case typically get a reply within a few days; general feedback can take longer. No ticket system, no autoresponder — a person reads every message.
